The Yenepoya School organised a one-of-a-kind summer camp, 'Yen Camp', which was open to all and hosted various activities age-wise like Zumba, Yoga, Art, Music, Dance, public speaking, fitness and nutrition session, Movie session, Picnic outing, cooking without fire, puppet show, story telling, science experiments, pyjama party, cricket, football, design workshop, badminton and swimming coaching.
The camp took off on 4th April and concluded on 14th April with a grand finale where parents were invited and the students put up a colourful display of talents which included Singing, dancing, Art show, zumba session and performed the Yoga they learnt over the 10 days here.
During the program, Dr. Ambedkar's portrait was garland while Shragvi of Class 5 spoke about him in honour of Ambedkar Jayanti.
Students who participated in the camp shared their wonderful experiences and a video showing glimpses of the summer camp was displayed on a large screen. The children's art work was displayed all around the auditorium, exhibiting the paintings and crafts done by the children, which parents could carry back home. The program concluded with distribution of certificates. The program was presided over by Mr. Uzwal Menezes, Principal, Yenepoya PU College, Mr. Padmanabhan K, Vice Principal ,The Yenepoya School and Mrs. Euvet Pereira, the Campus Coordinator.
