Summer Camp- Camp Yenepoya

The Yenepoya School inaugurated their summer camp – CAMP YENEPOYA on April 1, 2011. Dr K Mukund, Cardiologist, MD- Omega Hospital, Mangalore was the Chief Guest for the occasion. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the need to change the dietary habits of children as it is leading to lot of health related issues. Dr. C K Manjunath, Principal of The Yenepoya School welcomed the gathering. He wished the children 12 fun filled days with new friends and new experiences. Ms Babitha, Science teacher, compered the show.
The camp is for 12 days, April 1 to 12 with lot of fun activities for the children like swimming, recreational games, yoga, aerobics, music, dance, art and craft, trekking and outings. The whole idea of the camp is to give an opportunity to the children to enjoy, make new friends, shed their inhibitions, become more confident and also hone the latent talents in them.
