Independence Day Celebrations

The Independence Day was celebrated amidst much fervour and gaiety in the school. Mr Farhaad Yenepoya, Managing Director of the school, unfurled the Natioanl Flag. This was followed by an enthusiastic performance by the students which comprised of patriotic songs, dance, skit, etc. The whole programme was covered by Global TV and telecast on their channel as part of their Independence Day programme ‘My India , My Pride’. There was also a discussion on the role of youth in Nation Building and the role of Schools in nurturing the young minds. Mr Farhaad Yenepoya, Principal Dr C K Manjuanth , eminent journalist Mr Ishwar Daithotta and Dr C P Habeeb Rehman , Chairman and Medical Director of Unity Care & Health Services and the Unity Academy of Education participated in the discussion.
