Graduation Day – Preschool

March 16th had the indoor Sports complex, ‘Yendurance Zone’ at the Yenepoya University come alive with the colours, voices and beautiful performances by the children of the Yenepoya Pre-School. The occasion was the celebration of their Annual day and Graduation day.
The chief Guest Mr Suresh Ballal, expressed his happiness over the conduct of such programmes and congratulated the Yenepoya Group for its efforts to make education accessible to everybody. Honourable Chancellor of the Yenepoya University, Mr. Y Abdulla Kunhi presided over the function. The Principal of the Yenepoya School, Dr C.K Manjunath, joined the guests in the lighting of the lamp. Mrs. Reshma Nayak, Program leader (pre-school in-charge) gave a brief report of the annual activities. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mrs. Nasreen Abdulla (trustee YCDS) and dignitaries from the Yenepoya University. The children of the pre-school gave wonderful performances depicting the local culture of Mangalore and the evolution of Bollywood music from the 50’s, 60’s till date. Even the 2 year olds merrily performed to the tunes of ‘Give me a song to sing’. It was an explosion of talent along with the sentimental Graduation program for the children passing on to grade 1.They proudly received their graduation scrolls indicating their readiness to take on newer challenges.
