The Preschool at TYS, ensures that the child derives the benefits of both the Montessori method as well as a theme based curriculum. We have a well equipped Montessori environment with all the necessary material which in co-ordination with the child-friendly theme based curriculum focuses on the over-all development of the child as an individual. The focus is to develop self esteem and confidence in every child along with academic fulfillment.

|
- Use of themes: We use interdisciplinary themes that are connected to the child’s real world.
- Well qualified and trained facilitators: Each teacher undergoes a rigorous training and uses a wide range of available resources to plan the best experiential learning for her learners
- Multi age interest groups: Apart from interacting in their own group, we create space for children to interact with younger as well as older children. This is critical for a child’s learning and socialization
- Low student mentor ratio: The maximum class strength of 25 children with 2 teachers, ensures that each child gets individual attention.
- Hygiene and safety: Special emphasis is paid to this aspect and all the caretakers are trained on this.
- Facilities and field trips are used to enhance exploration and experiential learning
- Parent Awareness: Parents are provided with regular inputs on their child’s development.
